Eyes have been swollen and on fire for about three weeks. At the beginning, my mum didn't give a crap. It's still going on now to the extent where at times they're so inflamed I can't see. So she's going to write me a perscription tomorrow for some eye steroids, whatever the hell they are. And if they don't work, off to the specialist I go. Hoorah.
But I think I may enjoy being on steroids. Little thrill.
On another note, 1 out of 4 final essays down. Joy. Thrill. Am going to start another one now, I think.
That's all.

Can't Get Off This Ride
Is working day shift on floor the most draining thing ever?? Is losing an hour to daylight savings really annoying?? Is it a requirement to live in Camberwell to prove yourself old and senile??
Methinks yes to all of the above.
Soooo sleepy.

No More Mr. Nice Guy
Hey sexy kittens, just failing at concentration. How many more things can I distract myself with?? Je ne sais pas.
My mouth has that gross post-nap taste. I think I might go on the bike for a bit. Revitalise myself.

I Think It's Raining
Yesterday was the Cohen's birthday, so we headed to Cafe Blac for breakfasting, which was quite chill. Then I caught the train to Cambers to check out the new JB at The Well - a bit disappointed, the layout is totally generic, much like all the other stores, and it wasn't that big, either. Oh well. And inside The Well was too spacious and clinical, but I suppose that will change once all the stores open.
Um, then work, which was crap, as we were totally understaffed and I was knackered by the end. Then headed off to Kon's birthday drinks, but not before slipping on Josh's bloody mopped floor and getting my hand smashed by a closing door in the staffroom. I swore so loudly that they must have heard in Cinema 1.
Yeah, so drinks etc, then home, then chilled this morning, now time for massive work on uni assignments (or death will be imminent!!), and then babysitting tonight.
Chillage.

I Want To Try This
5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well.
Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little and tip out onto a plate if desired. EAT!
Desperado to try this. If it works, I'm going to gain 50 bazillion kilos.
Also, welcome to October.
