Can't See Straight Anymore

Haven't updated for a few days, thought I should round off September with a bang. I've been updating galore this month, so no complaints there.

Went to see "The House Bunny" = hilariousness and I'll defs see it again. Loved it!!!! And saw "Wild Child" ... um ... not good. Yeah, won't watch that again.

Need to start doing assignments as due dates are all impending and in less than a month I'll be finished uni for the year = fabulousness!! Just four majors before then and a test - care?? Non, monsieur.

Becky's birthday in two days, and Kon's smashing drinks that night too, which should be awesome. I haven't done something trashy for a while, so I think it's impending.

Oh, and I just remembered - I saw "Hot Fuzz" for the first time last night. ABSOLUTELY FUCKING HILARIOUS!!!! Recommended. Highly.

Yetis Will Solve Everything

Took Cammens to see "The Mummy 3" yesterday. As a movie functioning on its own, I've seen worse. As part of the franchise, it sucked major balls. The other Mummy movies are so good!! This was an embarrassment. It was like the script writers sat down and had conversations very much along these lines:

"Hey, let's make the mummy have cool superpowers that can do absolutely everything. How can we justify that??"
"Um ... let's just include one line of dialogue somewhere that randomly mentions that he learnt magic from weird priests when he was alive."
"Great idea!!"

...

"Uh oh, we've locked our main characters into a situation where the possibility of them realistically escaping is zero. How should we get them out of it??"
"Um ... let's make some yetis come and save them!!"
"You're full of amazing ideas."

...

"Jonathan was really funny in the first two movies. Let's give him more funny things to say."
"Good idea. Wait, he doesn't really know that much about mummies, his dialogue wouldn't really propel the script that much."
"That's okay. Let's just give him 50 or so one-liners that he speaks to himself and no other characters hear."

"This plane scene isn't funny enough. How should we overcome it??"

And I found out (the hard way) that all the drugs I was taking for the sickness were sedatives. Joy.

And ... um ... just have to focus on watching "Neighbours" right now.

Tripped out mcmassivo on pills this arvo - took high dosages of anti-headache and anti-mcsneezathon in too close proximity. Probably the closest to an LSD high that I'll ever experience.

Then crashed.

After a feverish night of crack dreams, today I drank some liquid panadol, dosed some anti-allergens, and then had a lozenge. Now it's off to work. Joy.

Maybe You Should Take Me In

Just skipping uni again, I couldn't see any point in attending when I haven't read the texts. Just as I see no point in them assigning an anthology as our reading requirement when the play isn't even in there. Oh well, just hope I make attendance.

My eyes have been puffy for days and my throat is constricted, but we can't figure out what I'm allergic to. So it's pretty crapola.

Haven't worked since 5:30 Friday night and it's weirding me out.

Might do some homework now to alleviate my truancy guilt.

Massive Day in CB Today

Whoo, done 100 posts. Mad skills. This is now my 101st ... would that be pronounced one-hundredth and first?? Perhaps.

Got heaps of shifts next roster - am working this coming Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday ... and that's because I have Mondays permanently signed off. Craziness, although I do need the cashola.

Get Your Fives Out

Had a few days off to cope with the stress of life. On Wednesday night I had a crack dream where pieces of plastic kept pouring out of my mouth, and I was helping Hannah Claire bury slices of tomato underground. When I woke up I could still feel the plastic in my throat, so was feeling quite illage.

Placement on Thursday, straight to do EOS after work, then back to placement on Friday morning. Pete's surprise birthday shindig on Friday night, which was chillage, and left me stumbling around my room drunk at 4am. Chris and I weren't "cut" by D'Andre, though, which is always a positive.

Yesterday was attempts at l'essay all day, with little progress, and vending at night. And now it's Sunday and I have to finish this bloody assignment as it's due tomorrow. And I will. Fuck. Starting now ...

Three For $10

Just wearing about five bazillion bracelets, can barely reach the keyboard. But they're all new so I'm enjoying the experience. So much assignment work to get on with, this is what happens when you put things off for too long!! And must do some lesson plans for tomorrow. Craptacular.
